Initially named Atlantic Avenue Garden center in the early 1980's we were renamed Atlantic Gardening Company (AGC) in 2017. From humble beginnings, AGC has grown to be known for our outstanding selection of plants and has developed a national reputation which has recently garnered us the distinction of one of the Best Garden Centers in America and Southern Living rated us the 5th Best Garden Center in the South in March 2020! We are the only nationally ranked garden center in Raleigh. The business on Atlantic Avenue still serves as a full service garden center offering everything for both the beginner and the experienced gardener including seminars and workshops to share our knowledge and a variety of landscape and container services!
