McDonald Refrigeration Inc was founded by Robert McDonald in December 1938. Based in the City of Carmel, the company provided service in the areas of Commercial and Industrial refrigeration. Due to our fast growth, and also the fact that McDonald Refrigeration was servicing the entire Central Coast area, the company outgrew its quarters and found it necessary to find a new home. Following World War II in 1946 we moved to a new location at 560 Fremont St. in Monterey and soon became the largest Commercial and Industrial Refrigeration Contractor in the Coastal area.
