In 1965, John and Janice White opened the gates to White Forest Nursery with just a yard full of plants and a pitch-up tent. John's experience as an Agricultural Inspector for the state and horticultural degree from UC Berkeley allowed him to successfully supply plants to the Bakersfield area, but more importantly supply a wealth of knowledge to his customers.
