Brenckle's Farm & Greenhouses

Brenckle's Farm & Greenhouses has served Pittsburgh gardeners since 1921 as a family-owned business committed to horticultural excellence. Our fourth-generation operation specializes in cultivating premium annuals, perennials, vegetables, and shrubs using time-tested growing methods that maximize plant vitality. With over a century of combined experience, our team of gardening experts carefully selects plant varieties proven to thrive in regional growing conditions. We maintain rigorous quality control throughout our growing process, from soil preparation to final packaging, ensuring every plant meets our exacting standards. Our unique hillside greenhouse layout offers an immersive shopping experience where customers can explore extensive collections of flowering plants, edible crops, and seasonal decorations.

We pride ourselves on providing personalized gardening advice and maintaining Pittsburgh's most comprehensive selection of locally grown plants. Our commitment to innovation is demonstrated through exclusive product lines like our patented hanging basket designs and specialty grafted tomato plants. As stewards of sustainable horticulture practices, we continually invest in improving our growing facilities to better serve both novice gardeners and professional landscapers.
