Your Trusted Oregon Garden Center Since 1948
Al's Garden & Home has been a family-owned business since 1948, when Al and Ann Bigej opened a small fruit stand in Woodburn, Oregon. Over 75 years, the company evolved into a third-generation enterprise with four retail locations and three growing facilities across Oregon. Our commitment to quality plants and customer service remains rooted in the values established by our founders. We grow 80% of the plants we sell at our Hubbard Farm and other production sites, ensuring freshness and diversity. Our team of horticulturists and gardening experts provides personalized guidance through workshops, seminars, and hands-on support. With over 200 employees, we serve both seasoned gardeners and beginners, offering a wide range of plants, garden supplies, and home decor. Our Woodburn store was voted Best Nursery in the Mid-Valley by the Salem Statesman Journal in 2016. We maintain a focus on innovation, having expanded from fruit sales to become a comprehensive destination for gardening and outdoor living. Our family's legacy continues through our dedication to helping customers create thriving gardens and beautiful spaces. Today, Al's Garden & Home remains a testament to the enduring power of hard work, integrity, and a passion for plants.

I think Al's Gardens are the best! Why? Quality plants and all the info on how to grow. The best employees. I love the color purple. The many choices a customer could want. All the inside merchandise is absolutely stunning. I have lived in Canby, OR for 18 years and find Al's Gardens the best. My secret dream is to be a "Purple Person"! Lari
