I purchased my home on 12/31/2018. It has been almost 9 months and the work orders are still outstanding. For example, the pavers the head of construction, Sammy, said would be replaced since they had cement on them are still not replaced. I'm missing a countertop by my back door. Those are just two off the list. The workmanship was extremely poor. For example, they didn't bother to remove the grout drippings from the tile on the bathroom walls, they didn't remove the paint they got all over the light fixtures, and they didn't grout over the red spacers between the tile in the bathrooms or in the kitchen. Worst of all, I have found a mold problem in my closet. My clothes, shoes, and bags are covered in mold. Let's just hope it doesn't take them 9+ months to take care of this issue. Considering the time it has taken them to do something as simple as replace a few pavers, I don't have much hope.
I purchased a home October 1, 2015. In the first 47 days we have had 3 major plumbing issues. Two resulted in water coming through the ceiling from both upstairs bathrooms. I now have holes in my Sheetrock in a bathroom and bedroom and missing the flooring in my pantry into the kitchen.
Bad quality houses and bad customer service builder. I would never ever recommend MI Homes!
