Daryll's Nursery has a wide range of plants that are healthy, increase your yard or landscape's curb appeal, and can not only live, but thrive in the Oregon climate. We have a large selection of beautiful plants and employ a team that is knowledgeable in all areas regarding plant choice, and how to properly care for them.
Newcomers to our desert climate are often surprised by the number of plants and shrubs that produce flowers and fruit throughout the seasons. Some, like the Tecoma hybrid Orange Bells will produce flowers year round if the winter is mild.
Why work with a garden center? Not all plants are created equal. The evergreen Oregon grape holly (mahonia aquifolium) flowers, produces berries and is native to America. Leatherleaf mahonia is not native and in some regions it’s classed as invasive.
The Red Bird of Paradise is an evergreen flowering shrub that does great in desert climes. It features bright yellow flowers with orange and red centers that grow out of long, thin stalks. These plants are fairly fast growers and can get large quickly.
