The Hawks Landscape Co. is a full service landscape firm with a unique design/build philosophy. At Hawks, we believe in having one Landscape Architect/Designer handle your job from its conception on paper, to overseeing the installation on your property. By doing this, you are able to work with a single individual, sharing thoughts and concepts, ultimately bringing your collaborative ideas and dreams to life. Hawks not only designs the landscape, but we have the experienced construction crews to install it.

America had started a great period of growth in the last quarter of the 19th century. Wauwatosa's Hawks Nursery Company is a part of that era. The Civil War had ended, the industrial revolution was in full bloom creating a prosperous middle class. Fueling the economic growth were the waves of immigration from Europe reaching the shores of America, helping the great westward expansion of our country. The wealthy class of the Eastern seaboard had built mansions and great estates using their own gardeners and landscapers emulating the lifestyles of the wealthy Europeans.
