Your Trusted Landscaping Partner in Washington, DC
Founded in 2014, SML Services began as a vision to transform urban landscapes while addressing youth unemployment in Washington, DC. As a formerly incarcerated young father, our founder recognized the lack of opportunities for local youth and created a business model that combines professional landscaping excellence with job training for underserved communities. Our team brings decades of combined experience in hardscaping, lawn maintenance, and snow removal, serving residential and commercial clients across the DMV area. We maintain industry standards through continuous staff development and equipment upgrades while prioritizing community impact. Our approach integrates modern landscaping techniques with traditional work ethic values, ensuring both aesthetic excellence and sustainable growth. We measure success not only through client satisfaction but also through the number of young people we employ and empower each season. Our commitment to quality is reflected in our repeat clientele and industry recognition, including features in local news outlets and the Washington Post. We operate with full transparency in pricing and scheduling, offering flexible service options for properties of all sizes. Our unique value proposition combines technical expertise with social responsibility, creating safer communities through meaningful employment opportunities.
