With the frost advisory for tonight, we decided to harvest our ginger crop. Not too bad for our first try.
This was an extension to an existing wall. There are still box woods that need to be added but we have to wait until they come back in stock.
This is also a work in progress. The plants and gravel were already there, but I added the white edging called “tumbled cottonwood” around the bed and extended another bed around the corner of the house. I am also going to add the same gravel to some bare areas in the front.
This is a work in progress, but you can see the trench for the edging pretty well. This will have wall block and caps as well as lava rock across the bed. There is also a trench to extend out a drain pop up. The idea is to stop a small river of water that rushes across the props when it rains.
