IEC as an organization was founded in 1957 and represents nearly 3800 companies related to the electrical construction industry across the nation. It is an organization dedicated to the promotion of merit shop electrical contractors and the companies that support our industry. The mission of IEC OKC is to promote and support merit shop electrical contracting, to provide education and training for continued improvement of the industry.

IEC-OKC is the Oklahoma City chapter for the Independent Electrical Contractors (IEC), and association representing merit shop electrical contractors through out the US. IEC-OKC offers our members many services ranging from our innovative and industry leading electrical apprentice program. This 4-year program is designed to help an apprentice become the best in the industry, learning many different aspects of the industry and developing into a future leader in the industry.
