Hi, I'm Luke, owner of Luke's Landscaping & Maintenance. I love taking care of lawns, and I've been doing it for 5 years. Well, I've been doing this as a business for 5 years, but I actually started doing yard work 10 years ago. I know, I look pretty young, and I am. When I was just in high school, a friend asked me if I was interested in taking over his customers. The rest, as they say, is history. Since that first summer, I've been adding more customers, more equipment, and more helpers. For the most part, it's been just a word-of-mouth experience, and I had more work than I could handle, but after finishing high school I realized this is what I wanted to keep doing, so I did.

Luke has a great creative flair for design. He is thorough, professional and works very hard to make sure you are happy with his work. He installed new landscaping throughout the entire front of our home and we are beyond thrilled. It is not only beautiful to us but my neighbors are enjoying the new look even more as they walk and drive by our home. It has become a standout in the neighborhood. Gi-NORMOUS thanks and props to Luke's Landscape and Maintenance (Luke Truetken) for a job MUCH needed and WELL DONE!!! 👏👏👏 Our yard has "settled" over the 18-1/2 years and no longer drains properly out back or along each side of our home. "LL" put French drains in on each side, reaching partway into back yard, and tied to all down spouts! Also brought in a pallet of St Augustine to sod over my puny non-shade-loving Bermuda, and to patch over the new French drain work. What a difference a month and great craftsmanship makes!!!

Luke and his crew did complete removal of existing landscaping from a series of large beds, installed a large quantity of new mulch, and removed two large eldarica pines from our property. High quality job, at very competitive pricing. They took the time to listen to our exact needs, and the work reflected them exactly. LL&M also has done work for our HOA, with the same quality work and competitive pricing. We have had experience with a number of landscaping companies during the 17 years we've lived in McKinney, and this was the best experience.

I've used a lot of landscapers and lawn maintenance companies in the past and I can honestly say that Luke's is the first one where I wasn't saying "they'll do until I find someone better". Luke's is the BEST. Luke and his crew take care of my yard like they own it. It's always meticulously maintained and any problems are immediately brought to my attention.
