Miles Lumber

Miles Lumber has served Arlington, Vermont, and surrounding areas since 1927, operating as a fourth-generation family-owned business. Our legacy began with Richard K. Miles, who established the companys foundation in lumber and building materials, later expanding into home heating fuels and comprehensive hardware services. Over nearly a century, we have maintained a commitment to quality products, personalized service, and community engagement. Our team combines decades of industry experience with a dedication to meeting the evolving needs of homeowners and builders. We prioritize competitive pricing, free local delivery, and a wide inventory spanning 5,000 square feet to ensure customer convenience. Our fuel department offers reliable home heating oil delivery, including 24/7 emergency service and automatic delivery options.

The in-house service department provides licensed technicians for heating system installations, repairs, and maintenance, backed by service contracts. Through generations, we have preserved the values of integrity, reliability, and old-fashioned customer care that define our brand. Our expanded product range includes automotive, electrical, plumbing, and lawn and garden supplies, alongside specialty services like screen cutting and key duplication. Today, we continue to serve Southwestern Vermont with the same dedication to excellence that has made us a trusted local resource.
