Hurricane Matthew did a number on north east Florida. For being such a strong storm and as close as it was, north east Florida was damn lucky to avoid the bullseye and suffer the minimal damages that it did. This doesn't mean to minimize the widespread suffering and losses that have occurred. Now that the tree removals, clean-up, repairs, estimates, and the misery is in full swing we as roofing & sheet metal contractors are catching hell as if it was our fault roofs leaked (whether or not we installed them).
