Our faith-based business started in 1928, and we still hold to those principles of God first, family second, and work third. That's still the focus of our business today. Our love for furniture & design began in the year 1928, when Nick and Cora DeYoung opened DeYoung's Funeral & Furniture store in South Holland, Illinois. That's right, we began as a funeral home with a built in furniture store over 90 years ago!
I didn't make a purchase from DeYoung because upon entering the store the salesperson immediately pointed out to me where the less expensive items.
