In the 1940's Charlie Day, along with his wife Dottie began in the furniture business. They built their business on providing the best quality, value and service to their customers. Through the next several decades Day's Furniture grew to become a well known, respected area retailer. Our current location at 1000 E. Dorothy Lane in Kettering was built in 1969 and over the years has gone through several design changes. Bob Day joined the family business in 1973 after graduating from the University of Dayton.
