Sharon helped us with a major remodel of our kitchen, master bath, closet and pantry. Her design makes cooking a dream as her layout is functional for a family that likes to cook. Sharons attention to detail ensured we utilized space efficiently and she helped inspect our contractors work. We discovered the lovely and talented Sharon Flatley by browsing through local designers on Houzz. Her work speaks for itself! When we first reached out, we honestly thought we probably couldn't afford her OR her schedule would be booked up. But much to our surprise, she took on our project with gusto. The challenge: Make the most of a teeny-tiny kitchen. From the start, she came up with many solutions to maximize our space and found lots of ways to add the beautiful designer touches most BIG kitchens have. We put all our trust in Sharon and she didn't disappoint. We went with all of her suggestions on flooring, cabinets, paint colors, back splash, counters, appliances –– pretty much everything. And the results continue to blow as away every time we walk into our kitchen and dining area. I highly recommend hiring her in conjunction with her long-time contractor partner, Richie Williams. They make an amazing team and their work is top notch. Every detail is just beautiful. We will be enjoying Sharon's creation for years to come!

We have been working with Sharon Flatley of Sharon Flatley Design as we update a twenty year old house in Dallas, Texas. Her professional expertise has been priceless in all aspects of this project including space design in the kitchen and bathrooms, electricity design and upgrades, paint , wallcoverings, furniture, and fabrics. We have been delighted to have Sharon Flatley guiding us through this project while we have been out of state. She is the most responsive, organized, and attentive designer I've ever had the good fortune to know.

Sharon Flatley did a complete redesign of our master bath and closets, our fireplace, mantel and hearth and our guest bathroom, as well as guiding us through paint decisions for our entire home. The high quality of Sharon’s work was apparent in both the design process and the end result. In doing the design, Sharon listened, understood, asked us questions and helped bring my husband and me into agreement on the style and elements of our design. She discussed various options with us, giving us some options we hadn’t considered, and gave us time and space to make decisions.
Sharon coordinated and gave fantastic advice on our tile and countertop selections and connected us with a great resource, Heather Mullaly of Expressions in Dallas, to make fixture selections. Sharon also identified sources and helped us with lighting selections and some specialty products. Sharon was patient, professional and understanding through both the design and construction phases. Our remodel is now complete and the results are stunning.
We are thrilled with how beautiful our bathrooms and closets are, how our new electric fireplace (replacing a 1990-style gas fireplace) has remade our den and how spacious, livable and functional those spaces are, even though the basic dimensions did not change. When we first called Sharon, we had only a general idea of what we wanted, and were frustrated from visits to design showrooms and design discussions with contractors. Within a few weeks, we had a preliminary and final design, including detailed drawings for the contractors. Sharon had turned our frustration to anticipation and then delight as the construction was finished.
We are very grateful to Sharon for her work with us. We will enjoy our spaces for many years to come. We highly recommend Sharon Flatley as a design professional who is fantastic to work with and who does beautiful, quality work.
