You may notice some smoke and activity on the Coutolenc side of Magalia Reservoir but everything’s okay! PID is coordinating with Butte County Fire Safe Council to burn piles—and make the watershed safer from future fire danger.
EDIT: We are now all out of jugs. This post was auto-scheduled but we handed out all the jugs before this post ran live.
A generous grant from the Butte Strong Fund (North Valley Community Foundation) to PID meant we were able to offer 2,500 five-gallon water jugs to fire victims in Paradise—and later to those suffering from the 2020 Complex Fire.
Our thanks to all the crews keeping our community safe during this stormy week! If you have a water emergency, PID staff are available 24/7; call 530/877-4971.
