To truly know our story we need to take you back to the 1950's. It was a cold, early morning where Gary Meier found himself on a job site in the rapidly growing Southern California suburbs. This is where Gary Meier, Founder of Meier Plumbing Inc., remembers himself as a young boy watching his dad and older brothers "physically" build what is now one of the most prosperous economies in the world. Back in those days plumbing drain lines were put together with what is known as lead and oakum. The lead was put into a large pot and melted down for the plumbers to pour over the oakum packed into the plumbing joints for water tight seal.
