McKenzie Homes

McKenzie Homes is a family-owned custom home builder with over 40 years of experience serving Florida's Gulf Coast. Founded in 1977, we specialize in creating completely personalized homes tailored to each client's unique lifestyle and budget. Our commitment to quality craftsmanship is evidenced by our long-standing relationships with subcontractors, some of whom have collaborated with us for nearly two decades. We prioritize total communication throughout the building process and back our work with a Ten Year Home Buyer Warranty Program. Our reputation for integrity and attention to detail has earned us lasting relationships with clients, many of whom return for multiple generations of homebuilding.

We treat every customer like family, ensuring transparency and fairness in all our interactions. Our expertise extends beyond primary residences to include detached garages, room additions, and energy-efficient designs. Recognized for our excellent workmanship, we maintain active membership in local and national homebuilding organizations. Our team's deep understanding of Manatee, Sarasota, and Hillsborough Counties allows us to create homes that perfectly complement their environments. With three generations of building expertise, we continue to honor the legacy established by our founder while embracing modern construction innovations.
