VRSD owns and operates the Toland Road Landfill, located off Highway 126 between Santa Paula and Fillmore. Since 1972 we have ensured the safe and effective disposal of municipal solid waste from cities throughout Ventura County. Our employees have more than 250 years of collective experience at the landfill, which enables them to efficiently and cost-effectively manage the daily disposal of up to 1,500 tons of waste, six days a week. Our experienced, state-certified professionals are trained to provide a full range of water supply and wastewater treatment services, from full operation and maintenance of supply and treatment facilities to individual services such as sewer line inspection and cleaning, groundwater monitoring, and water quality assurance, among many others.
VRSD provides a full range of water and wastewater services, including full operation and maintenance of water supply and wastewater treatment systems. Our staff are licensed and certified by the California Department of Public Health, the State Water Resources Control Board, the American Water Works Association, and the California Water Environment Association. Employees are trained and experienced in a wide variety of facility operations, including potable and recycled water supply, activated sludge treatment, biofilter systems, and onsite wastewater treatment plants.
