Scott and Kate Knapp founded Capitol Homes in 2007 with the dream of helping people build their ideal home. Our goal is simple: to build beautiful, long-lasting homes that deliver the same level of quality and value that we would demand for our own home. As a design-build firm, we design each of our homes ourselves. This gives us the knowledge and flexibility to customize each home according to our clients' wishes. We will gladly expand the garage or kitchen, add or remove a pool, or change the interior layout of the home to suit our customers.

Each of our model homes have been carefully designed to take advantage of the best parts of Florida coastal living. From expansive lanais and refreshing pools to open concept kitchens and elegant master suites, we build homes designed to enhance your life. We offer a wide selection of house plans, options and upgrades to make the home buying and building process simple and enjoyable. Our professionally designed homes are created with comfort in mind and include as standard many of the features that other home builders consider upgrades.

Our team can answer questions about the purchasing process, help you weigh your custom options, and walk you through financing. Capitol's vice president, Kate Knapp, is a licensed real estate sales associate and can assist you in the purchase of land, the sale of your current home and more. Nice to meet you! Your journey begins with an introduction to the real estate/sales agent who will be guiding you through the home building process, and, if needed, help you select your parcel of land. This first meeting will include finding out what you're looking for in a home as far as floor plan, features and customization.
