My wife & I founded Penney Roofing & Construction in 1995 to gain more control over our schedule & direction, something the hours my retail sales & management positions didn't afford us. The majority of my work experience outside retail was in home building, roofing, residential remodeling, & commercial construction. My father was a home builder & I worked for a home builder, a commercial contractor, & a remodeling contractor while attending college at the University of Nebraska at Kearney for business administration.
