Since 2002, I've worked as a custom home builder in Worcester, Mass., and throughout Worcester County. I turn dreams into reality, from concept to completion. And I do it by using the incredibly effective and efficient design/build methodology. Thorough, professional, and honest. We loved the design/build experience with J.E.P. and were consistently given the attention we deserved as experienced homeowners to maintain the integrity of our project. We hired J.E.P. twice - once to remodel most of our home (literally) and secondly to build an in-law apartment for my ailing father.

Design/build is a more efficient process than what you'll get from Worcester general contractors. With design/build, you have one point of contact managing the entire process-from design, to budgets, to the build itself. Communication is paramount every step of the way so that nothing falls through the cracks. That said, my approach to the design/build process is a bit different from other Massachusetts design/build firms. When you hire J.E.P. Contracting, you get me, Patrick Perkins. I'm the owner, the designer, and the project manager.

We're a design/build firm, not a general contractor. The design/build methodology is an extremely efficient and effective way to build a custom home. Because everything-from the initial concept to the build itself-is managed by the same company. Or, in this case, by the same person: me, Patrick Perkins, the owner of J.E.P. Contracting. I live and breathe custom projects, and I love being involved every step of the way-from concept to completion. You won't find any cookie-cutter designs here. I'm particularly proud to say I've never built the same house twice.
