Born in the foot of the Himalayas, in the valley of Srinagar Kashmir, famous for it's finely knotted Persian carpets, I had a dream that my children would continue the art and its rich history and culture that I am passionate about. I started creating world famous carpets exclusively for our retail operation in the USA, each piece is signed with our family signature. In 1987, I took a big step in my life. Working for fourteen years as a Chemical Engineer, I decided to follow in my father's foot steps and started a retail operation in Okemos, Michigan.
