We contracted to remove popcorn ceilings in our great room, master bedroom and kitchen. They used two different methods. We had the ceilings in the master bedroom and kitchen covered with drywall then painted and the great room alone is 700 sf with vaulted ceiling and two skylights, we had the popcorn scraped, skimmed then painted. Chris and his team were great to work with and the end result is just beautiful, what a tremendous improvement. We can't thank them enough and highly recommend them!
We have used the New Braunfels, Texas, Five Star painting for two large projects which included painting 25 foot ceilings, cabinets, and, of course, walls. Very timely response to our request for pricing. Very good all around service, from the owner periodically overseeing the work being done over the course of the project, to the workers being very flexible with the schedule and being productive and efficient to the clean-up once the job was completed. The owner worked well us on invoicing, purchase order and payment as well. Highly recommend and we will use their services for future projects as well.
