We are a fully licensed and insured state certified building contractor (CBC #1252732) as well as a Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS 1 & 2) and are Green Builder Certified. Mott's is also a Certified Renovator for Lead Paint which is required when restoring historical homes and buildings. We specialize in residential remodels and additions, commercial build-outs, interior and exterior painting, roof repairs and specialty services such as carpentry, flooring and paver installation as well as various handyman projects and sinkhole inspections.

Mott's Contracting Services, Inc. is the Tampa Bay area's premier design-to-build firm, offering one-stop-shop services to take a residential or commercial project from concept to completion. Established in 1999, Mott's Contracting specializes in residential remodels and additions, commercial build-outs, interior and exterior painting, roof repairs and other specialty services including carpentry, flooring and pavers as well as sinkhole inspections and handyman projects. Mott's Contracting is only one of a few Certified Aging in Place Specialists (CAPS 1 & 2 certified) contractors in the state of Florida, enabling the firm to use universal design to retrofithomes and businesses to make them ADA-compliant (handicapped-accessible) for disabled veterans, the elderly and the chronically ill.

In Florida, licensed contractors are required to be knowledgeable in all aspects of construction, including business law and accounting. In order to obtain a license, you must pass 20 hours of rigorous exams, complete 14 hours of continuing education courses every two years, pass a background and credit check, have proof of financial stability, as well as have a licensed building contractor verify your work ability by signing your paperwork. In order to start working, the company must also maintain coverage for current general liability insurance and workers compensation.
