Emil Helmig came to the United States in the late 1920's - and like many at that time, envisioned starting his own cabinet manufacturers business and family legacy amidst the prosperity and freedom that America had to offer. Emil began his legacy at a custom cabinet maker and cabinet designer in 1936, with just two other employees. Emil started in an empty 1,000 square foot workshop where he and his staff specialized in millwork, mantels, and custom cabinetry. Three Helmig generations later his company is still going strong!
