As a young boy I used to help my dad build things on our property of over 35 acres and realized that I enjoyed working with my hands and creating things that had a purpose. Upon graduating high school and spending time in the Navy as a Jet Mechanic, then onto an apprenticeship as a machine operator, it became even more obvious that building things was to be my future. I married, started a career in heavy equipment and site work, and began doing small carpentry jobs, eventually leaving the equipment business and concentrating on carpentry which was my true love.
