Mo from Bay-LA Express Moving was great to work with for our move from SF to LA. He was quick to respond with a quote, and made the entire process easy and accommodated all of our needs. The moving guys (Pierre, Fred, Manuel and Eric) were super professional, moved our furniture with great care and were time efficient. Mo gave us a very accurate quote, and we weren't hit with any hidden fees that other moving companies try to spring on you. It was the easiest and least stressful experience!

If you need a reliable, efficient and economical moving company in the bay or LA, look no further. This is it, Mo and co. are the real deal. I used Bay-LA for a move from SF to Venice Beach in May 2021, a move that included couriering a load of precious antique furniture up a walk street in Venice Beach. Everything, and I really mean everything, arrived intact and on time. The team completely exceeded my expectations and to my delight the quoted estimate for the job was accurate for what I paid in the end, though the walk street scenario was something I realized (to my horror) as an unexpected plot twist and unavoidable reality of the destination, when I arrived the night before the movers. Amazingly the team was able to unload all my things in under two hours! If I need to move again, I'll surely reach out to Bay-LA.

Wow! I am so impressed with their efficient, organized, and clean work. I i'm posting this review because I truly believe they deserve a nice write up, and I hope this helps other people researching movers.
They were so fast, polite, and went above and beyond. I had a specific case with in terms of my move from SF to LA which was very time sensitive. Long story short, I was flying from Philadelphia, stopping in San Francisco, then flying to LA the next day. So I really had a small timeslot. Ivan I believe that's his name took my call and helped me create a quote and he was just communicating with me with me prior to the move. He's very professional and will call you back right away!!
They did everything they could to accommodate me. To be honest I'm always very skeptical about hiring movers. I've heard so many horror stories. So I'm just here for real to let you know that these guys know what they're doing. Jose was the main guy helping from the pickup and the drop off and he was so amazing. I forgot the other guys name but he was amazing as well. Jose was fast, hard-working, friendly, and very nice. He communicates very well. And I'm definitely going to hire them again the next time I move. I spent so many hours and days researching movers getting quotes, and they were so affordable compared to others. Thank you guys SO much !!!

Just had a move completed today. I worked with Mo over the phone and email, who, while not always at the phone, always returned my call and assured me of everything regarding the move. Pricing for me couldn't be beat since the logistics worked out well to have another move happening the same day. I saved at least $500 because of this.
Movers came and were polite and efficient. There was a hiccup in that they needed to run to the hardware store (off the clock), but otherwise they took care of everything. Next day, they showed up in LA bright and early. They quickly dropped everything off and reassembled some stuff.
Couldn't be happier with the process. Would totally recommend this company (and if I need to go back to the Bay, I would use them again).

I hired Bay-LA Express Movers for a move from the Bay Area to LA. Mo got back to me immediately and was absolutely phenomenal in every way. We did a virtual walk-through of my house, which included a very heavy set of weights, and Mo immediately gave me a super reasonable quote and offered tons of flexibility on when I could hire them in the next couple weeks. Mo couldn't have been more responsive to every concern I had, and it was by far the best moving experience in my life.
The day of the move, Mike and Jamie showed up right on time and carefully wrapped and loaded my stuff. These guys are AWESOME. Super friendly, super efficient, hard working dudes who never even stopped for a water break. It couldn't have been a more pleasant experience, and they did a phenomenal job loading a lot of super heavy stuff -- including the aforementioned weights, which added up to about a thousand pounds by themselves.
I then drove down to LA and the truck arrived the next morning. Mo himself was on scene with four movers, who again did a phenomenal job quickly and efficiently unloading my stuff and placing it around my house. They did fantastic work, and I couldn't have asked for better. When it turned out a small bag of inexpensive bathroom stuff had been left in the truck, Mo had it delivered to my door immediately. Just phenomenal work all around, and a great experience. I strongly, strongly recommend these awesome guys.
