Through Gifted and Talented Education (GATE) Services, students who are identified with outstanding abilities are provided services and programming to meet their unique needs. We use a variety of frameworks, curricula, and competitions to support what high ability and gifted/talented students need to be challenged and successful in school. As part of its framework, GATE Services has comprehensive early entrance and grade promotion procedures. The School Board's acceleration policy guides those actions.
