We were looking to build what we thought would be the perfect fire pit for our back yard. We saw photos online of what we wanted but we didn't know what parts were needed. We gave Michelle a call at Georgetown Fireplace and Patio and she was very helpful. Not only did she provide us with instructions during an hour long call but she also was kind enough to send me photos to my phone of the exact specs of the various parts and she even took the time to draw us a picture of where the vents and drains should go.

We purchased a Vermont Castings Dauntless wood stove from these wonderful folks. Jeff Schultz was ur contact and he was very knowledgeable and thorough...and patient- we had a lot of questions. He helped us find a top notch installer as well and made sure we had all parts necessary. I believe the prices were pretty reasonable. Not a lot of stove folks to pick from in my area but we had an installer come in for a second d opinion and he even said he couldn't give us the prices that we got thru Gtown f&p. Highly recommend.

I needed some double walled class, A chimney for my outdoor pizza oven and I went into the Georgetown fireplace and patio not knowing pretty much anything. I sat down with Michelle and told her exactly what I needed and then proceeded to ask. What do I do? And she was very quick to look up the manual and the build sheet for the oven that I was building in my yard which was not supplied by them and found exactly what I needed.
She then took the time to explain everything to me and take me inside of the warehouse and show me how everything would be connected and all of the pieces that I would need in order to finish my project. She was very, very, very very very extremely helpful in this because I really had no idea what I was doing, and there really isn't much that you can find about this type of stuff online. The only thing you can do is talk to the people that sell it and install it. They are your greatest resources.
Come to find out. She is actually from a small town outside of my small town where I grew up and where she grew up. So it's a very small small world that we ended up working with each other!!!

Georgetown Fireplace and Patio is the best place to get a fireplace, by far. I had them install an Xtradinaire Elite wood burning fireplace in my new home this past spring. The entire process, from start to finish, was a great experience.
The weather cooled down, and I had my first fire in the fireplace. However, a sealing gasket came loose. I reached out to them regarding the issue. They completed the repair within a few days. I discovered that the people at this business are friendly, helpful, and timely. If anyone needs a fireplace, this is the place to go.

I highly recommend Georgetown Fireplace and Patio. Our stove (that was shipped from straight from the manufacturer) had a faulty gasket which resulted in a cracked glass front the first time we used it. We called GFP the next morning and they were extremely helpful. No questions asked, they shipped all the supplies to repair the stove. Great customer service an knowledgeable staff.
Terribly rude and nothing appeared to be hand made as advertised. It all looks like it came from a factory. Will never be going back to this place and suggest you not waste your time. Staff was extremely unprofessional and have no business dealing with the public.
These people are some of the rudest and disrespectful people I've ever had the misfortune of comming in to contact with. Very unprofessional. I do not recommend conducting business with this establishment.
