Our family moved to Cottage Grove in the early 1970s at the same time our father, Bill Regali, opened the doors of American Structures General, Inc. (ASG). One of the first general contracting companies to specialize in the construction of steel commercial buildings. As teenagers Curt and I would do various odd jobs for ASG throughout the summer months. We learned the value of hard work and the importance of giving 100% to even seemingly menial tasks. Among the buildings erected by ASG are several of the mini-warehouse units you see throughout the Dane County area.
