Racine Plumbing had built a large customer base over the years, partly due to its reputation as one of the very few bars in Chicago to cater to New York sports fans. The bar, which is named for A.L. Racine's West Loop plumbing business that was founded in 1892, was also popular with Notre Dame fans, as well as for its solid bar food menu and beer list. The food and beer selections are out of this world. Racine Plumbing's chef - Matthew Brems, formerly of Bottleneck Management (Old Town Pour House, Sweetwater, South Branch) - has created a killer menu that will please everyone.
