Please join us in supporting this incredible organization that provides nutritious meals to families in need. The Electric Way is a local, family-owned business providing professional, customer-focused residential and commercial electrical services to clients throughout Colorado Springs.

The Electric Way is a local, family-owned business in Colorado Springs that you can trust. We pride ourselves on being honest, friendly, and efficient while serving our community. We provide the licensed electrician you need for the best electrical experience at a fair price. The right way, The Electric Way! David Hopmayer founded The Electric Way in 2013. He is a Colorado Springs native who has been working in the electrical field for over 15 years. David worked alongside many contractors over the years, and realized the electrical industry rarely focused on providing a high-quality customer experience, beginning to end.

The Electric Way is committed to the safety of our customers around the clock. We understand that emergencies don't always happen during regular business hours, which is why we offer after hour and 24-hour emergency electricians in Colorado Springs, CO. If you are experiencing a burning smell or see smoke or sparks, call or text us immediately. A licensed after-hours electrician will respond to your message shortly with instructions on how to keep your family safe until one of our 24-hour emergency technicians can arrive to assess the situation and resolve the issue.

Electrical panel replacements may be required for several reasons, including if an electrical panel has been recalled, is damaged, or otherwise deemed "unsafe". The most common scenarios the experienced electricians at The Electric Way encounter are involving Federal Pacific panels. These specific panels have historically posed a fire hazard. Not every Federal Pacific panel is unsafe, however, if your home has this brand of panel, our electricians highly suggest having a licensed electrician inspect it.

What's new?

As a female-owned company, we want to support other women in our community.

A customer called us recently and asked if there was anything we could do about him and his wife frequently getting shocked when they turn on their light switch. The problem was actually not related to the switch at all, but to a static electricity build up in their home!
