Owner and founder Paul McMurchie moved to Lake Tahoe in 1974 to work in the ski business and enjoy his passions such as skiing, competitive sailing, road cycling, and mountain biking. In 1991 he started Alpine Electric as a one-man show. As projects grew in size and scope, he assembled and educated a team of professionals with the goal of providing exceptional quality, and attention to detail. This tradition continues today with further education in the latest lighting design, window shading and home control systems while maintaining an unsurpassed level of workmanship, value, and personal service.
