As Vice President of Operations, Ron leads a team of project managers, engineers, energy analysts, and construction managers in developing, designing, and constructing energy conservation projects. Ron's experience in the energy management field includes serving as survey engineer, project engineer, project manager, monitoring services manager, operations manager, senior project manager, and senior project director. He has lead the development, design and construction of more than 50 energy performance contracts totaling $170 million, which includes 10 MW of solar photovoltaic (PV) generating systems and more than 12 MW of cogeneration systems.
With an in-depth background in architecture and construction management, Kevin manages the development of comprehensive energy solutions. His from-the-ground-up expertise in the technical details of electrical, mechanical and general building envelope systems enables him to identify optimal energy conservation measures that meet client needs. Kevin is an experienced project manager who guides clients through the entire design and implementation process. He coordinates clear communication among all stakeholders and develops scopes of work that build upon broad estimating, scheduling, contractor and vendor relationships.
Tim works with clients to promote their success stories to both internal audiences and external media, and develops promotional materials to help gain buy-in and understanding of project accomplishments. He ensures that the company's message and brand stay on point, and provides quality assurance for a wide variety of reports. His ever-evolving interests currently include cooking, gardening, design, and oil painting. Tim has a Journalism degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia where he majored in advertising.
Eileen brings over twenty years of experience as a strategic business communicator to ESP. Her early career in academic administration and commercial real estate development led to marketing and strategic planning positions with a global building materials firm. As a consultant, she has conducted numerous marketing analyses and extensive research in energy efficiency in residential markets. She has been certified as a BPI Building Analyst since 2011. Eileen partners with clients to ensure that awareness and conservation programs are tailored to specific objectives.
Dr. Rahe is a former school superintendent who now works closely with clients to develop energy-saving and facility improvement projects that enhance overall facility usefulness and comfort. Having been on both sides of the table, as a recipient and provider of engineering and construction services, allows him to act as a true advocate for clients. Dr. Rahe is known as a collaborator who seeks out input from all parties involved in a project, as well as a creative problem solver who can balance the need for engineering solutions with architecturally pleasing results, all while remaining sensitive to budgetary needs.
Co-founder and president of turning our vision into reality, Jeff has 22 years of experience in the energy efficiency, facility-improvement and heating, ventilating & air-conditioning fields. Jeff works with clients to understand their needs, develop appropriate solutions, and arrange financing for projects. He's also spent his fair share of time auditing buildings, pouring over utility bills, managing installations, and engineering solutions. Jeff's been a lifelong baseball and Kansas City Royals fan, and spent many years coaching his sons' baseball and basketball teams.
Terry brings over 30 years of experience to ESP, having spent the majority of his career in the Energy Service Company (ESCO) and contracting industries. He has provided engineering and project management expertise to clients that include school districts; hospitals; local, state and federal governments; colleges and universities; correctional facilities; and commercial building owners. Terry works with clients to identify and quantify potential energy savings opportunities and develops design proposals that draw upon his considerable expertise with domestic HVAC solutions, building automation, commercial lighting and renewable energy systems.
Sue analyzes client utility data to identify consumption/cost trends and billing anomalies. She is also a key contributor to proposal and report preparation, and tracks and manages required paperwork during the construction process, and post-construction. If she's not out playing tennis, you'll likely find her involved in helping the community through the Kansas City Young Matrons or several other charitable organizations. Sue has a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas and an MBA in Information Systems Management from Baylor.
