Elm was founded in 1971 as a small electrical contracting company that catered to residential, commercial and industrial clients. The founder and former president, Robert Schmidt, instilled the values of quality, reliable workmanship and service that have been the driving force for Elm through the years. As we have continued to grow, we now exclusively service industrial and commercial clients. Elm has also expanded its business to include Automation and Systems Integration, 24-7 Service and Support, Control Panel Assembly, and Electrical Preventive Maintenance, in addition to the Electrical Contracting Services on which the company was founded.
