January 18-21, 2021 - National Biodiesel Virtual Conference & Expo Each year, the National Biodiesel Board provides the industry with the opportunity to learn and grow. Renewable Energy Group - headquartered in Ames, Iowa - has been a Wisconsin Clean Cities member since 2017. Renewable Energy Group (Nasdaq: REGI) is the largest biodiesel producer in the U.S., with additional locations in Europe. For more than two decades, REG has been transforming renewable feedstocks into cleaner fuel sources to meet the growing global demand for low-carbon transportation.
The Biofuels Caucus has introduced two new pieces of legislation, the Renewable Fuels Infrastructure Investment and Market Expansion Act and the Adopt GREET Act, which will expand access to higher blends of biofuels and direct the EPA to update its greenhouse gas modeling for ethanol and biodiesel.
"As large utilities move to replace fossil fuel generators with cleaner sources, Wisconsin regulators plan to study how the state can eliminate carbon emissions without sacrificing affordability or reliability."
