In 1966, two brothers, Steve and Bob Sireci, started Diamond Moving, operating out of Steve's basement in Tonawanda, NY. For the next four years, their two daughters grew up watching their dads work together and run the business. The business grew and in 1970, the brothers bought and moved the business into 321 Franklin Street, which provided storage capabilities. The business became Diamond Moving & Storage, and a third daughter was added to the family. Growing still, in 1976, Steve and Bob purchased the seven story Cold Spring Transfer Co. building at 1440 Main Street and moved the business into that historic building, expanding their storage capabilities to 54,000 square feet.
