Mike served as sole proprietor and General Contractor and became Incorporated in the State of Maryland in 1986. Koval Construction has held a Maryland Home Improvement Commission (MHIC) license for over 30 years. In addition, we have been registered with the Home Builder Registration Unit of the State's Office of the Attorney General in Maryland since the beginning of the program in 2001.

Mr. Koval was very professional and knowledgeable. He removed the materials when he was done and left my yard in the some condition it was when he arrived. Mr. Koval did a great job with the deck and used quality materials. I felt extremely comfortable having him at my home and very secure. Mr. Koval help me when I was trying to find a contractor even when I told him I was considering other. He know all the county code and was sure to follow them and conduct his work as per the code requirements. I am so happy with my choice to grant him the job. He will be my go to guy on any of my home construction projects.

It was not by accident that we contracted Koval Construction for our garage addition. We had contracted Mr. Koval the previous year to build a screen porch to replace an existing second story deck. We were so impressed with Koval Construction and the gorgeous porch that we didn't even bid the garage addition. The new garage addition surpassed our expectations. The attention to detail and uncompromising quality are traits I wish all contractors possessed. The new roof shingles matched the old house shingles perfectly. The job site was kept clean and organized at all times. We literally had to do nothing but pick out the colors and buy new furniture (and wife's new car for the garage!).
