Overall, it was a good experience. And that's a breath of fresh air, given my previous misfortune of falling for a cold sales call from a company with poor ethics. I even explained to the SMW technician about my previous bad experience and that I didn't know if his visit would end by me throwing him out of my house. He acknowledged that the industry has a bad name due to such companies and was careful to explain to me what he would be doing before he started.
At the end of it, he didn't upsell me nor overcharge me the way the last company did. I think a good company would do well by setting themselves apart from the crooks by providing a good service at a reasonable price and by earnings their customers' trust and business in an honest way. So far, so good, SMW. I'll be keeping an eye on you.
