As a garage door builder for more than 40 years and specializing in solid wood high end custom doors for almost a half a century, WE KNOW WOOD! Every species of wood reacts differently to stain and there are many facts that we consider on every door we build. It is important to understand the wood and its personal character for maximum coverage and color consistency. A Ziegler finish is guaranteed to be a minimum of 4 finish coats, 2 color coats and 2 clear coats. In many cases we will apply 3 clear coats for maximum finish.

We are licensed to install garage doors only in the state of California and we do install in almost every City in CA. The Ziegler method for constructing a solid wood Entry Doors is a proprietary method of removing the grain memory from the wood. Grain memory is what causes some doors to twist or bow, by removing the memory from the wood we are capable of creating beautifully mastered entry doors that don't come apart. This does happen with some solid wood doors, but our method allows the grains to stay true without curling, cupping or twisting along the natural direction of the wood. Solid wood doors are tricky and therefore expensive to manufacture.

Our driveway gates are custom fabricated on metal frames and can be overlaid with almost anything imaginable. Ziegler Gates can be made in single swing, double swing or sliding systems. Automate your entry by adding an electric gate opener. We have many different options for gate openers depending on your projects needs. All of our gate openers are equipped with a safety eye photo sensor and can be connected to in ground loop detectors for safety and ease of operation.
