After completing his studies in chemical engineering at Laval University, Andre Rochette began selling programmable thermostats. At the time, energy efficiency was still a relatively new idea, and Andre saw the potential to think big. 1993 was also the year that Richard Tremblay-current vice president at Ecosystem-arrived on the scene, an experienced engineer with a remarkable capacity for innovation. Together, they helped clients reduce energy bills through new solutions: efficient lighting and dual-energy heating.
By reusing existing assets when possible in our projects, our engineers imagine efficient design and a sustainable future.
We prepare for tomorrow by challenging the status quo today. Ecosystem engineers look holistically at each project’s systems, partnering with our clients to improve energy performance, reduce cost, resolve operational issues, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions to contribute to an environmentally ...
This week, record low temperatures and snow battered the southern United States, leaving millions of Texas residents without heat or power after the grid was overwhelmed by cold-weather issues coupled with increased demand. As weather reaches more extremes -- and spikes in demand occur more...
