Goergen-Mackwirth Co., Inc. was founded on September 16, 1916 by 3 individuals as a small sheet metal start-up. 1916 was the year of the first taxi service, first assembly line production of cars (Fords were selling for $290), and Woodrow Wilson was the President of the United States. Throughout our history, the focus of our business has remained the same; custom metal fabrication and industrial contracting.
