I was charged $90 service charge for a estimate on hooking up an existing system and a quote on a new system. I explained in detail what I needed prior to them coming out and it was not a service call. The quote I received on a new system was 40% higher than the next highest bid. I would suggest getting other bids before using these folks.
Called them for my ac breaker tripping and they charged me $640 to uncharged my unit. Yes take out freon and that didn't even fix my problem but note that being over charged was never an issue in previous years the unit was serviced. They told me the motor was pulling to much ampage and it needed to be replaced but that it was a $470 warranty charge. The motor is under warranty by manufacture and all they would have to do is exchange the existing motor for the new one free of charge by the manufacture. In addition to the warranty charge they are charging me additional parts and a trip charge which I understand. These people take advantage of your situation not having air conditioner and take the opportunity to charge you triple of what anybody else would be charging for the same service My home is only under three years old and I have had the air conditioner serviced in the previous years because it was under warranty from the builder and no one told me that the unit was overcharged and none of the record show that the Freon ever was an issue. Do NOT let these people In your home.
Had Sonny come out when I 1st bought my house 4 yrs ago. He evaluated everything and gave me heck-of-a-deal on Honeywell programmable thermostat, and installed also. Then last summer, (2014) he gave me another killer deal on new ducts through my whole house and attic! Sonny truly stands behind everything personally. As long as he is around, I know who I can trust with my heat&A/C needs. I would recommend him to anyone!
