Air Duct Sealing
In homes with forced-air heating and cooling systems, ducts are used to distribute conditioned air throughout the house. In a typical house, however, about 20 percent of the air that moves through the duct system is lost due to leaks, holes, and poorly connected ducts. The result is higher utility bills and difficulty keeping the house comfortable, no matter how the thermostat is set.

Each technician is EPA-approved and certified to handle refrigerants and several are NATE certified. Gas Furnaces
Today's new high efficiency gas furnaces can save up to 50% in operating costs over a twenty-year-old furnace. Many 1990 and earlier model furnaces have Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency (AFUE) ratings of 65% or less. The minimum AFUE rated furnace that can be sold in the United States today is 80%. Our current product offering starts at 80% AFUE and goes all the way to a very efficient 96.6% AFUE rating. Depending on your average usage, higher AFUE rated furnaces can significantly reduce your gas bill.
Residential Maintenance
Why is seasonal maintenance important?
Seasonal residential maintenance is the best way to prolong the life of your equipment, to protect against costly breakdowns and to promote maximum heating efficiency, equipment longevity and safety. With regularly scheduled maintenance, your unit is certain to operate more efficiently and with less power consumption. Clean air filters assure maximum air flow while unrestricted indoor and outdoor coils make heat transfer easier.

I've used for years to check my HVAC. This week, on a regular check, they found AND SHOWED ME a crack in my heat exchanger. It is a 15+ year old furnace.so time to replace, but they offered details on just replacing heat exchanger/ replacing furnace with various choices and levels.replacing whole system. No pressure, time given for decisions. And when I decided, they did it the next morning! My basement ended up CLEANER than when they arrived. I was given explanation of system and time to ask questions. VERY professional, nice and helpful, skilled work.

My air conditioner wasn't working today as the temperatures approached 90. I had a "system failure" warning on my thermostat. I called Rhymes. Darren in service talked me through it and had my system working again in about 15 minutes. He saved me a hot night and a service call. I am so impressed with the level of service! Thank you!

We have had repeated troubles with a 10 year old HVAC unit. Both times we called for service, the technician was able to come out within 24 hours. On this occasion (as in the past) technician was friendly, professional, knowledgable. They provided an estimate to replace the compressor fan motor which was noisy (no longer under warranty) but also suggested that I may just wait since the unit was still functioning. Appreciated the honest assessment and the very quick, polite, and professional service. Will definitely call them again in the future.
