Our South Minneapolis Hardware store has been located in the same neighborhood in South Minneapolis for over 65 years. We sell hardware, paint, paint sundries, hand tools, power tools, electrical goods, plumbing supplies, housewares items, small appliances, lawn and garden items. Our store kittens, Nut (she is sleeping on the right) and Bolt (indignant at having her picture taken) taking a break from their play. Make sure to say 'Hi' to Nut & Bolt when you shop. Be careful, their claws are sharp!
There have been a lot of big feelings this week, saying goodbye to the family hardware store of my childhood. I'm not sure I could express how or what I'm feeling. I'm sad, because I'm not very good at goodbyes. My heart is full because of all the memories and all that I learned. I am forever...
