Your Trusted Garden Center & Gift Shop in Chittenango, NY
Sorbello's Produce began in 1972 as a produce distribution business founded by Anthony Sorbello. Over five decades, the company evolved from a small farm operation to a multi-faceted enterprise encompassing wholesale produce, retail gardening, and seasonal gift offerings. The business transitioned to John Sorbello's leadership in 1984, who expanded the lawn and garden division while maintaining the core produce distribution. Through strategic expansions including new greenhouses and a dedicated gift shop, the company now offers locally grown plants, handmade holiday decorations, and regional artisan products. Our operations integrate traditional farming methods with modern horticultural practices, emphasizing quality and customer experience. We maintain strong relationships with local growers and suppliers to ensure product freshness and community support. The business continues to invest in facility improvements, including recent greenhouse expansions to enhance production capacity. Our team combines generational expertise with contemporary gardening knowledge to serve both retail and wholesale customers. We prioritize sustainable growing practices and customer education about plant care and seasonal gardening. The Sorbello family remains actively involved in daily operations, upholding the company's founding principles of quality and service.
