Firmly rooted in the United States since 1925, Dunn-Edwards Paints ® began a small, family-owned business that - through hard work and commitment to quality - has grown to become one of the country's leading manufacturers and distributors of paints and painting supplies. We dedicate ourselves to providing professionals and consumers throughout the Southwest with a complete line of the highest-quality, best-value paints, painting supplies and equipment - as well as superior service. And we do it with pride.

The story of Dunn-Edwards is one that is American made. Since 1925, the company has been operated in the United States. From a small family shop in Los Angeles, the company has grown to more than [STORES-NUMBER#open] store locations throughout the Southwest. We certify that Dunn-Edwards manufactured paint products are "Made in America" as defined by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). We certify that Dunn-Edwards manufactured paint products are formulated and manufactured with materials that qualify as "Domestic Construction Material" as defined in FAR Clause 52.225-9 Buy American Act - Construction Materials.

At Dunn-Edwards, our mission has always been to provide the best performing paint, in an environmentally sound manner to protect the health and well being of our customers. We were a disciplined leader in the concept of green product manufacturing long before it became popular. From our ingredients, to labeling, to our LEED Gold-certified paint manufacturing facility, we strive to continue our green legacy and provide you with eco-efficient products. Ethylene Glycol (EG), a solvent often used in water-based paints, is listed as a Toxic Air Contaminant (TAC) and Hazardous Air Pollutant (HAP).

Since 1925, Dunn-Edwards Corporation has been the leading manufacturer and supplier of architectural and industrial coatings in the Southwest, providing a complete line of paints and painting supplies to professionals and quality-conscious consumers. Frank "Buddy" Dunn founded the company in 1925, not as a paint maker but as a wallpaper store in Los Angeles. The business expanded as he added a line of paints, and later (with two employees) he began manufacturing his own paints in the backroom of the company's second store.
